MARQUETTE, Mich. – UPDATE 7/9/24: A planned electrical outage at the US-41/Washington Street intersection in Marquette to allow the Marquette Board of Light and Power to perform work has been rescheduled from Monday to 6:30 p.m. tomorrow, July 10. The outage is expected to last up to two hours and will cause the traffic signal at the interchange to be dark during that time.
Law enforcement personnel are expected to be directing traffic at the intersection. In the absence of uniformed police officers directing traffic at a dark traffic signal, the public is reminded to treat it as an all-way stop.
MDOT urges motorists to use caution when approaching the intersection.
