MUNISING, Mich. (WZMQ) – Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore is opening up its Youth Conservation Corps (YCC). The program is looking to hire ages 15-18 for $15/hour for a 40-hour work week.
Summer employees will work alongside rangers completing trails, grounds work, and lakeshore exhibits.
“Even if you don’t go on to work for the National Park Service you know the teamwork and communication skills that the YCC teaches these people that come and work for them really valuable for any sort of job that you’re going to get,” commented Pictured Rocks Public Information Officer Hannah Bradburn.
Applications are being accepted until May 3rd, 2024.
