HANCOCK, Mich. (WZMQ) – A world-renowned Finnish comedian will perform at Finlandia University.
ISMO makes his Copper Country debut Friday, Feb. 17 and Saturday, Feb. 18 at Finlandia’s Hirvonen Auditorium.
In 2018, ISMO was the first Finnish comedian to perform on Conan O’Brien, and the clip of his set has become one of the most viewed late-night sets with over 106 million views.
“We are mimicking his culture, and I think he’s going to have a really fun time seeing that. I also think he might roast us a little bit for it, and I look forward to seeing his general comedy stand-up but also the way he looks at us and says, ‘You people are a little crazy!'” laughed Kailee Laplander, executive assistant to the Finlandia University president.
ISMO will perform at 7 p.m. both nights. Tickets can be found here.
