Clouds will hang in the region today, with maybe a few flurries. Not much more expected though. Travel this evening will be okay as things will remain dry. However, after midnight some bands of lake effect will develop. Not expecting much for most areas, including Marquette. Up to an inch in the traditional snow belts, though, may make the roads slick for late night travelers. The new year will ring in with some bands of lake effect again in the snow belts.
