Storms and Showers Expected Today

by A.J. Mastrangelo
August 24, 2022
A A

Instability continues this afternoon with showers and storms becoming likely for many this afternoon. Showers and storms continue overnight and into tomorrow morning and some locations may end up with substantial rainfall totals. These storms are not expected to severe, but there is a threat for localized flash flooding. As always when a road is flooded, turn around and don’t drown. On a happier note, skies begin to clear tomorrow night as high pressure works it way back in for the end of the week. Temperature bump up to the mid 70s for Friday and then widespread 80s can be expected for Saturday and Sunday. A few storms and showers will be possible for the second half of the weekend into early next week, so stay tuned for updates!
