Expect relatively quiet weather over the next couple days with generally clear skies and increasing temperatures into Sunday. With the increase in temperatures also comes an increase in humidity and instability in the atmosphere. You’ll notice muggy conditions Sunday and some thunderstorms may be possible. Some models have picked up storms making their way into our area Sunday AM, while others have held the storms back until the afternoon hours. I’ll have an update on the Sunday storm potential tomorrow as the short-range models start to gather an idea towards what will occur. Calm to light winds through Saturday will strengthen Sunday as a southerly flow starts to develop. For now, enjoy the abundant sunshine and seasonal temperatures that are in store for your Friday and Saturday!
