Andrew Hansz joined WZMQ 19 in 2025 as a reporter/multimedia journalist.
In 2024, he received his bachelor’s degree in communication & media studies at Northern Michigan University (NMU). Andrew’s enthusiasm for journalism started during his senior year as a music journalist on Public Radio 90.
During his time at NMU, Andrew was a part of the drumline for the Pride of the North Wildcat Marching Band. He enjoys playing drums on his own time.
Andrew is originally from Cheboygan, Michigan. Growing up around boats and being along the Great Lakes has made Marquette the perfect place to start his career.
