While Supplies Last the Women’s Center is Distributing Backpacks Filled with School Supplies for Those in Need.

UPHP dropped off backpacks filled with school supplies to the Women’s Center for children in need this school year.

The donated backpacks are left over from the Community of Resource Fair that was to help the Lake Superior Village students.

These bags are being distributed out of the Pak Rats directly connected to the women’s center.

There are about 20 backpacks with supplies still available for any child in need

Andrea Numikoski Development Director at the Women’s Center, “I did have a question on Facebook on whether or not you have to be a woman to receive for their children, and absolutely not.”
