NMU Men’s Swimmers and divers dominate UWSP

Finished first in 14 of 16 events

The NMU men’s swim and dive team opened 2025 with a bang, finishing first in 14 of 16 races events in the teams first meet back in the PEIF Pool.

The ‘Cats would cruise to a 161-106 victory thanks to all of the top finishes from the pool today.

Highlighting the team’s success was Tobie Stiles setting a team and pool record  in the 3-meter diving, Leo Nolles setting a pool record in the 100 free, and Benaiah Schnurstein setting the teams 1-meter six dive school record en-route to getting both the 6-dive and 11-dive NCAA qualification scores.
