ISHPEMING, Mich. (WZMQ) – An Ishpeming brewery is celebrating 30 years of dedication to its community.
Jasper Ridge Brewery at 1075 Country Lane, has held the same location since 1996, noted as one of the first staple breweries in the Upper Peninsula. Known for original favorites like its blueberry and golden wheat beers, Jasper Ridge creates all of its signatures in-house. The location also has a full menu of original burgers, sandwiches, and pizza.
Management says after three decades, the business has been able to grow up with its own hometown customers.
“It’s been a lot of growth and community involvement, lot of returning customers who know us by name and we know them, it’s a really wonderful experience,” said General Manager Kevin Hokenson. “It’s exciting to see how the community has changed, and how everybody’s banded together to help everybody out in the area.”
For the anniversary, Jasper Ridge is also holding a number of giveaway prizes for its customers.
