The 17th Annual U.P. Fall Beer Fest took place on Saturday, September 12 in Marquette at Mattson Park in Lower Harbor. Hosted by the Michigan Brewer’s Guild, breweries from the Upper and Lower Peninsulas travelled to lower harbor to showcase the very best of their beer.
Over 60 breweries participated in this year’s event, some travelling from as far as Ann Arbor. Along with local favorites, live music from the Dan Trudell Organ Trio, Ramble Tamble, and Superior Pipes and Drums performed at the festival.
“Our beer festivals are put on by the Michigan Brewer’s Guild, which is a non-profit trade association,” said Executive Director of the Michigan Brewer’s Guild Scott Graham. “All the proceeds from the event go back to into our effortsto promote and protect the Michigan beer industry. So, this is the best way, the funnest wa to sample lots of different Michigan beers all in one setting. There are hundreds of beers here.”
The Michigan Brewer’s Guild will host one more event in 2026, the Detroit Fall Beer Festival on October 24.
