MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – A Marquette business is transferring its ownership in the coming weeks.
Aquapodics is a sensory deprivation business located in the Upper Peninsula Medical Center. After two years of successful patronage across the U.P., a focus in personal goals has brought Co-owners Peter Torelli and Leo Maiorana to pass their torch along.
Local Health and Wellness Coach Heidi Czerkes has been a frequent guest at Aquapodics for the past few years, and decided to take on its new ownership starting in September. Prior to the decision, the co-owners say they made sure to set up an honorable passage of their business, to allow its services to continue as strong as they began.
“It’s been great, and I think that transitioning the business to an owner who really cares and is going to incorporate new services is the best thing of all,” said Torelli.
Czerkes will begin ownership of Aquapodics on September 1, with plans to expand its services and outreach in January.
