Wilson man pleads guilty to conspiracy to deliver fentanyl

ESCANABA, Mich. (WZMQ) – A Wilson man could face two decades in prison for conspiracy to deliver narcotics.

On Monday, Colton Brunette appeared in the Delta County Circuit Court, where he admitted to knowingly assisting in the delivery of fentanyl in October of 2024. He entered a guilty plea to the felony offense, which is punishable by up to 20 years in prison and/or $25,000 in fines. He is scheduled to be sentenced on October 5.

This offense is unrelated to other charges that have been filed against Brunette, who was one of two men arrested during a traffic stop in February of 2025. That stop and arrest resulted in the seizure of more than 200 grams of cocaine, more than 100 grams of fentanyl, ecstasy, ketamine, and other drugs.
