MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – It’s a busy weekend ahead in Marquette for artists and enthusiasts.
The 32nd annual Outback Art Fair will run on Saturday and Sunday in Shiras Park at Picnic Rocks. Over 100 arts and craft vendors will take over the lakeshore park, with a lineup of food trucks, and plenty of buskers with live music.
The shows organizer of all 32 years, Cindy Engle, says you won’t want to miss the creativity from around the area.
“We are such a creative community, and there’s so much talent here,” she said. “There’ll be good food, good music, and wonderful art. Everybody loves to come to Marquette.”
The Outback Art Fair will take place from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Sunday.
The weekend will also feature the 66th annual Art on the Rocks Fine Art Show at Mattson Lower Harbor Park from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Sunday. Admission to both shows is free to the public.
