LANSING, Mich. (WZMQ) – The Michigan State Police is encouraging local support for the American Association of State Troopers’ 2026 Best Looking Cruiser competition.
Every summer, state police agencies around the country each enter a picture of a patrol car, usually taken in front of a state landmark, competing with the coolest image to represent the communities they serve.
Last year, the Michigan State Police came in second place overall. This year, with one week left to vote, the MSP sits in first, about four thousand votes ahead of second place.
“We’d love to see that support continue,” said District Eight Public Information Officer, Ben Eckola. “It’s just a fun way to show support for the Michigan State Police and your local troopers, and hopefully we can pull out a victory.”
This year’s entry by the Michigan State Police was taken in Grand Haven State Park. Voting is open to the public through July 13, and you can find a link here.
