MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – The U.P. Children’s Museum became just a little more red, white, and blue this evening.
The museum welcomed families in for a patriotic celebration ahead of America’s 250th birthday.
The American Legion brought flag making activities and coloring books for the kids, while Culver’s donated their famous frozen custard for everyone to enjoy.
Organizers, such as Chris Lutey, say events like this is exactly what the museum is meant for. “It’s one of the few places that children and families can come and just have a night to be a family, and to share some fun experiences at the museum.”
A sweet start to the summer, with America’s birthday just around the corner.
