MANISTIQUE, Mich. (WZMQ) – A Manistique nonprofit is inviting the community to a fun event for a worthy cause.
The Power of 10 Foundation creates care packages for people living with chronic illnesses, terminal illnesses, and disabilities. The packages are then sent all over the world.
On Saturday, May 30, The Power of 10 is hosting a Ray of Hope fundraiser at The Mill from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Guests can enjoy live music by Whiskey Ryan, a silent auction, all-you-can-eat pizza, and a cash bar.
Proceeds from the event will be used to deliver even more smiles to children and adults going through a difficult time.
“When everyone gathers together, it makes an even bigger impact because it shows that everyone is here for one another,” said Power of 10 Foundation Executive Director and Founder Sarahjean Adolphus. “They’re all here to support somebody, even when they don’t know them. Just coming down and supporting the nonprofit, whether it’s at the event or as a volunteer or even a small donation, everything always counts.”
Tickets for the Ray of Hope fundraiser cost $20. They can be purchased at the door or in advance at The Mill, which is located at 216 South Cedar Street.
