MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – A new optometrist office in Marquette cut its ceremonial ribbon Thursday afternoon.
Spex opened in early April, offering a unique selection of eyewear and professional eye care by Dr. Anna Krause. Dr. Anna, as she’s known, has held over a decade of optometry experience in the Metro Detroit area, before returning home to the Upper Peninsula and opening her own practice.
She says her goal is to create an inclusive environment for all ages of patients and customers.
“I’m looking to build a practice where you come in and feel welcome from the moment you open the door,” she said. “We want you to feel heard and understood, and really find a pair of glasses that you love and speaks to who you are.”
