ESCANABA & IRON MOUNTAIN, Mich. (WZMQ) – This week, both of Bay College’s campuses hosted presentations on getting young people engaged in the workforce.
Nationally-acclaimed speaker, author, and workforce development expert Mark C. Perna addressed faculty members, community leaders, and local employers in Escanaba Tuesday morning. He highlighted ways the workplace is changing—including the rapid growth of artificial intelligence—and how to help young people discover their potential.
Perna says it is crucial to learn how students make decisions, to build strong communication, and to guide them toward meaningful opportunities.
“We have to shift our paradigm to understand how extraordinary young people are and how we can reach them with a compelling message of relevance and purpose in their life,” he told attendees.
Perna’s presentations were part of Bay College’s efforts to strengthen partnerships between educators, businesses, and community organizations while preparing students for the future. To learn more about Perna, visit tfsresults.com.
