2026 Blueberry Festival vendor applications, poster competition now open

MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – It may still be five months out, but vendor applications are now open for the 2026 Blueberry Festival.

Starting July 31 this year, over 100 vendors will round the streets of downtown Marquette, offering everything blueberries. Groups interested in sharing a blue themed product or message are advised to fill out an online application soon, as spots go fast. Vendors can apply here.

Entries for the Blueberry Festival poster competition are also open, with the winning design becoming the face of the festival, carrying a $400 dollar cash prize. Voting will span from May 1 through May 29. That application can be found here.

“This event has just been growing and growing, year after year,” said Mike Bradford, business outreach coordinator for the Marquette DDA. “As far as the theme itself, it doesn’t even have to be a blueberry, but if it’s in the theme of the color blue, we’d love to have you.

Vendors and artists have until Friday, April 24 at 4:00 p.m. to complete their entries.
