EMMET COUNTY, Mich. (WZMQ) – The Michigan State Police is recognizing Sergeant Dennis Wagner for saving a life while off duty at Nub’s Nob Ski Resort.
While skiing on January third, Wagner spotted a collapsed skier and immediately began life-saving care alongside a ski patroller and bystanders.
CPR and an AED were used until EMS arrived. The skier, Kevin Livingston, is now awake and is expected to make a full recovery.
MSP says early action and teamwork made the difference.
