MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – A nationwide fast food chain plans to set up shop in the Upper Peninsula for the first time.
According to a representative, Jersey Mike’s has signed a lease for a new location at 3195 Wright Street in Marquette. The company served sliced and grilled sub sandwiches on freshly-baked bread, including gluten-free bread options. There are currently 4,000 Jersey Mike’s restaurants open or in development, and it was named the fourth fastest-growing franchise of 2025 by Entrepreneur Media.
At this time, Jersey Mike’s is working through the construction process. The franchise plans to open in the first or second quarter of 2026.
