ESCANABA, Mich. (WZMQ) – UPDATE: At approximately 6:30 p.m. on July 3, Escanaba Public Safety located Madalynn after receiving a tip. She was returned home safely.

The Escanaba Department of Public Safety is searching for a missing teenager.
Around 1:46 p.m. on June 27, Escanaba Public Safety officials responded to a report of a runaway juvenile. Officers are actively attempting to locate Madalynn Nixon, a 15-year-old female. As of July 3, her whereabouts are still unknown.
The public is urged to be on the lookout for Madalynn. Anyone who has seen her or who has information on her location is asked to contact Public Safety at (906) 786-5911 as soon as possible.
