NEGAUNEE, Mich. (WZMQ) – U.P. based non-profit organization Courage Incorporated is hosting a community fundraiser on Saturday, April 12 from 3pm to 7pm. Courage Incorporated focuses to allow individuals and veterans with physical disabilities to participate in camping, fishing, boating, and hiking trips.
This Saturday, at Negunee’s Upper Peninsula Brewing Company, community members are welcome to join and raise money to help provide these free adventures. Thousands of dollars in raffle prizes will be available, with tickets starting at $15. The group has held these fundraisers before, with great turnouts in the past.
“Our first one a couple of years ago at Pasquali’s was a great success, the next year we moved up to Ishpeming at the bowling alley there, that was wonderful, we had a really good turnout out,” said Abby Letts, the director of services at Courage Incorporated. “So, we’re hoping to continue with this third year in Negaunee again at the U.P. Brewing Company.”
