CRYSTAL FALLS, Mich. (WZMQ) – Michigan State Police (MSP) officials are asking for the public’s help in an investigation involving a break-in at a Crystal Falls area church.
At approximately 6 p.m. on March 24, MSP Iron Mountain Post troopers responded to a break-in at Faith Fellowship Bible Church, located at 1314 US-2 Highway. They discovered that a gallon-sized jar of money had been stolen.
The jar is believed to have contained between $600 and $800 in various denominations. The jar was described as having a push-to-seal lid and an orange, adhesive backing construction paper label with the words “SAMS BURU” on the front.
The investigation is ongoing, and no arrests have been made yet. MSP is requesting the public’s help in identifying a suspect or providing any information that could aid in the investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call the MSP Iron Mountain Post at (906) 774-2122.
