MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – The 2025 Upper Peninsula Early Childhood Conference took place on Friday. Educators gathered at NMU’s Northern Center, taking part in various presentations, workshops, and exhibitions from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. These sessions covered topics such as trauma, literacy, and social-emotional growth.
“This is a really important opportunity for our professionals to get together,” said Corey Holcomb, the conference co-chair, “to get some quality professional development and learn about best practices in the field. It also gives them a chance to network and connect with their peers.”
This years conference brought in over 300 educators from all corners of the Upper Peninsula.
