MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – Slabz Bar and Grill in the Ramada in cut its ribbon on Thursday after its soft opening back in November.
Deployed Capital, the team behind the restaurant, has expanded to Marquette after working on other hospitality projects like the Roam Inn in Munising.
Slabz serves a variety of meat and fish options and Deployed Capital’s Director of Food and Beverage Jason Biega said the menu has something for everyone.
“We have large plates of shawarma, flank steak, wild lake trout from superior,” said Biega. “There’s really something for everybody on this menu, and some things that you don’t necessarily find here in the Upper Peninsula that we wanted to provide.”
Slabz is available to anyone, you don’t have to be a hotel guest to enjoy.
It’s open seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. and till midnight on Fridays and Saturdays.
