MARQUETTE, Mich. (WMZQ) – Art galleries and studios all over Marquette are helping put on an Art Crawl for tourists and local art enthusiasts to explore.
The tour will feature over 150 local artists and regional artists, live demonstrations, pop-up artist appearances, workshops, and entertainment.
The Marquette Arts and Culture Center is helping organize, and opening up their gallery along with 11 participating Marquette galleries and studios.
“One of the exciting things about this is that is has so many different art styles,” said Marquette Arts and Culture Communications Coordinator Amelia Pruiett. “It’s focused primarily on the visual arts so paintings and drawings, but also sculpture and photography and it’s really neat.”
The tour will be from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, with special events happening around Marquette throughout the day.
