MARQUETTE, Mich. (WMZQ) – The annual Noquemanon Trail Network Enduro run and bike race fundraiser is this Saturday and Sunday.
The race already has over 150 racers registered, and organizers expect over a thousand spectators, and expect to raise over $10,000.
Race Director Nic Dobbs said the success of the race and the trails is a testament to the quality of the community as a whole.
“We have such a good infrastructure around this, we do have really good trails and we’re on people’s radar now because people love being here, they love the atmosphere,” said Dobbs. “It’s a great town, it’s a great community of people. One of the things I hear from tourists is just how friendly everybody is here, how inviting everybody is here, and I think that goes a long way.”
The races start tomorrow at Marquette Mountain at 9:45 a.m.
All are welcome to spectate free of charge.
