ESCANABA, Mich. (WZMQ) – An Escanaba business is opening its facility to local artisans for an evening of fun.
Haley Station Wedding and Event Venue will host its first Makers Market on Saturday, September 14, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Vendors will be selling jewelry, decor, crafts, and other handmade goods.
Food truck La Catrina will also be on site selling tacos. Those 21 and older can “sip and shop” with cocktails from the Haley Station cash bar.
Debi Haley, owner of Haley’s Station, says when artists approached her about hosting an event like this, she jumped at the chance.
“Crafting and creating has always been a passion of mine, so being able to support other makers that are actually doing this for a living is a passion of mine,” she said. “To have the opportunity to have a space to do that is pretty fun.”
The cost to attend the Makers Market is $10. To purchase tickets in advance, click here. More information on the Makers Market is available on the Haley Station Wedding and Event Venue Facebook page.
Haley Station is still accepting vendors for the Makers Market. To sign up, email haleystationevents@gmail.com.
