MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – The eighth annual Women’s Center Classic Car Show is coming up on August 17 on Third Street in downtown Marquette.
The Women’s Center is still looking for volunteers to help with parking, selling raffle tickets, and general organization during the event.
Women’s Center Development Director Andrea Numikoski said the car show is one of their biggest fundraisers of the year, and it goes a long way towards helping victims of domestic abuse.
“This year our goal is to raise, 20,000, I think is a solid number,” said Numikoski. “It just has such a huge impact on our survivors, and being able to offer the services that we do offer.”
