MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – The D.J. Jacobetti Home for Veterans held its annual Nathan Koski Memorial Classic Car Show on Wednesday.
The show had just over 20 vehicles including cars, trucks, a couple of tractors, and even some vintage first responder vehicles from the early 1900s all the way to the last decade.
Jacobetti’s activity manager Shari Smith said the car show helps ring back memories for many of the residents.
“Their past careers are mechanics, they had cars,” said Smith. “Some of them have cars in garages right now at home. Just to see them, reminiscing, they use to drive these cars, yeah it’s just great.”
