MARQUETTE, Mich, (WZMQ) – The Wednesday Night Farmers’ Market is back with plenty of new faces, and also plenty of familiar ones.
Peace Pie Company was at the Farmers’ Market today selling sweet and savory baked goods.
The company has been to the Farmers Market before but this year is its first with a brick and mortar location which opened in March.
Peace Pie’s Events and Marketing Manager Janelle Buttery said even though they have a new location now, they want to stay true to their roots.
“Peace Pie started in 2015 as a farmer’s market entity and has grown into the brick and mortar that it is today,” said Buttery. “Business at the shop has been so great that we just couldn’t keep up with the Saturday market so we opted to do the Wednesday night market since it was a little bit shorter.”
If you want to try Peace Pie for yourself you can find it at the Wednesday Night Farmer’s Market in downtown Marquette, or at its permanent location at 1501 Division St. in south Marquette.
