MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – At Lake Superior Theater, the annual fish boil fundraiser held by the Rotary Club was back for another year. This fundraiser started 31 years ago and funds the Rotary Clubs grant program. The Rotary Club provides grants twice a year to non-profit programs that give back or support the Marquette community.
Tickets for this event are $75 in which you receive a fish boil meal along with tickets for the silent and live auction. This fish boil recipe is the same as the first fundraiser and each year the cooks make it a little better organizers shared.
“It’s the energy, it’s the energy that comes in from everyone wants to support those kinds of organizations that do good in the community and wanna do good work, and that’s what Rotary does”, Jennifer Legault, Rotary Club Chair.
The Rotary Club is grateful for the support from sponsors, the community, and, the surrounding Rotary clubs. For more information on future Rotary Clubs events or how to join go to Marquette Breakfast Rotary Club website.
