MARQUETTE, Mich (WZMQ) – This weekend a chance to support the Marquette firework show by purchasing a T-shirt at the Farmers Market. All money raised goes to equipment and the rest of the fireworks show, any funds left over goes to the following year.
The shirts are $25 and were locally designed and printed at a Marquette t-shirt shop Loyaltees. The Marquette fireworks committee has a couple of tricks up their sleeves for this year’s show.
“I think the biggest thing this year to celebrate the 4th of July is the parade is gonna have the F 16s fly over us this year, for the first time, but as for the fireworks go, you’ll just have to come and see”, Chris Durley, 4th of July Committee Chair.
