The Zonta Club of the Marquette Area is honoring local women in a special event on May 23.
The 3rd annual Honor a Woman ceremony will present special recognition of all the nominees, nominated by the community, and feature a presentation by Claire Dahl, who will be impersonating Rosie the Riveter and sharing about the important role women had during the WWII era.

The Honor a Woman ceremony is at Barrel + Beam in Marquette Township (260 Northwoods Rd.) on Thursday, May 23 at 5:30 p.m. For $100, anyone can nominate a woman in their life.
