MARQUETTE, Mich (WZMQ)- Tonight, Ore Dock and The Fire Station held their Buds, Brews, and Beats event to raise money for Great Lakes Expungement Network or GLEN. This event kicked off at 6 p.m with the band “Ghoul for a Goblin”, followed by “Realms” and “No Expectations”.
To enter this event there was a $5 cover charge. The event featured Ore Dock’s “Super Dank” IPA from The Fire Stations 2022 Camp Cannabises, as well as other beers and of course food. This event even had merch for Ore Dock, Fire Station, and each band that preformed. All the money raised during this event from cover charge to drinks goes to GLEN, this event was an opportunity for GLEN to connect with a new community.
“They operate out of downstate Michigan — putting something on up here allows them to get the message out to this audience and get to know the uppers a little bit better,” said Lauren Runtuo Fire Station’s marketing and public relations specialist.
This was the first year however Runtuo hopes this event continues in years to come. If you would like to donate go to Great Lakes Expungement Network website. For more information on future Ore Dock Events check out their website.
