ISHPEMING, Mich. (WZMQ) – A historic Ishpeming bar has reopened offering specialty cocktails, and live entertainment.
The Mather Inn is open Thursday, Friday and Saturdays from 4 p.m. till 9 p.m. The bar opened in March, it serves all sorts of drinks like espresso martinis made from local ingredients,
Thursday night the bar had a pianist playing music for patrons to listen to while they enjoyed their drinks.
“The [downstairs of the Mather Inn] will be a 3,800 square feet with a wood fire oven that can do pizza, steaks, and pub food,” said Bill Anderson, the co-owner of the Mather Inn.
According to the owners the downstairs taproom will open in September.
