MARQUETTE, Mich, (WZMQ) – The Upper Peninsula Children’s Museum’s (UPCM) Second Thursday Program continues next week with a focus on critters.
There will be crafts, singing, and even a visit from NMU’s anthropology department.
The museum will be showing off all of their beloved critters and even bringing in some new ones.
UPCM Education Coordinator Jim Edwards said he loves to see new people experience the museum.
“I’ve been here a while and it’s always surprising to me,” said Edwards, “and I love it, when every week, like today, somebody’s come in for the first time ever. So I think having an open house once a month like a free Thursday is a great thing.”
The program is from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on the evening of every second Thursday, and is free for anyone to come and enjoy.
