MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – A local technology company is aiming to bring more services to homes throughout the UP. Eco Smart Home Pros held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Tuesday celebrating its new location in the Masonic Square Mall.
The home automation company offers home automation tools, from automated garage doors when you get home to even after-work music to play as soon as you walk in the door. The company noted it’s not just for those looking for automatic door openers but can also be helpful for those away for the winter or just on vacation.
“Put in some water leak detections under sinks near your water heater and you know automatically hey something’s happening you have a smart lock you just call up your local plumber and you can go on your way you don’t have to worry about oh I need to find a flight I need to get home I need to do this call your professional and go go do your thing,” commented Eco Smart Home Pros Chief Operations Officer Steven Donley.
The service company’s goal has always been to bring a more convenient and easier life to the customer and Donley said being in the heart of Marquette couldn’t serve the mission any better.
