ESCANABA TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WZMQ) – On Sunday, January 21, Delta County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a gunshot victim at an Escanaba Township residence.
28-year-old Jacob Cronick was lodged at the Delta County Correctional Facility. He is being charged with assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder or by strangulation. He has a cash or surety bond of $250,000.
The victim was flown to UP Health System – Marquette, where he remains in stable condition. Cronick’s closed probable cause hearing is scheduled for February 1, and his preliminary examination is scheduled for February 8.
