MARQUETTE, Mich, (WZMQ) – Marquette’s Got Talent is an annual show sponsored by “Hope For the Future” featuring kids from ages 5 to 18 from all over the Upper Peninsula.
Each year, between ten and twenty contestants showcase everything from singing to gymnastics.
Marquette’s Got Talent also helps to promote local charities and raises money for a college scholarship for Marquette Senior High School Students
The event’s Organizer Janna Benedict said it’s great for the kids and the community.
“Reaching out into the community, bringing awareness to the different organizations that the contestants want to sponsor,” said Benedict, “helps make the youth aware that we need to know what our fundraising needs are in the community and kind of brings a happy feeling all around”
