The NFL AFC wildcard game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Buffalo Bills at Highmark Stadium has been postponed to Monday at 4:30 p.m., New York Gov. Kathy Hochul announced Saturday.
The game, which will be shown on WZMQ CBS, will still be played at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park.
“The NFL has agreed with our assessment that we need to postpone tomorrow’s playoff game until 4:30 pm Monday afternoon. It will continue to be played at Highmark field right in Orchard Park. It’s all part of our critical efforts to keep New Yorkers, motorists and fans safe from this wildly unpredictable storm,” said Hochul in a news conference.
As a result of the programming change, WZMQ 19 News at 6 will be pre-empted. Also, 19 News special “MLK: The Dream Lives On” will instead air at 3 p.m. Monday and 7 p.m. Tuesday due to the rescheduled game.
