Youth Volume is a music studio for children ages four to 18 who want to learn to play the violin or cello. The founder of the Marquette chapter, Clara Hardie, shares more about the origins of the organization, the methods used, and the ultimate goal of changing communities through music.
The Violin Art Auction is Sunday, Dec. 17 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Barrel + Beam in Marquette Township. Local artists have given new life to old violins, creating them into unique, one-of-a-kind art pieces. The money raised will help support Youth Volume.
