MARQUETTE, Mich, (WZMQ) – Tomorrow is the 23rd annual Holiday Sale at the Marquette Regional History Center.
Artists from the Marquette area spent all afternoon getting ready to sell their art.
Julie Highlen, an artists who has been involved in the holiday sale for the past five years, said she keeps coming back for the people.
“I enjoy the atmosphere,” said Highlen, “and I like that so many people come in not only to support the artists, but they support the museum, and it just seems like a great fit.”
The Regional History Center’s Store and Rental Manager Jessica Bays, said it’s important for the center to have a good relationship with Marquette’s artists.
“We’re always garnering those relationship,” said Bays, “so that later on down the road we can tell the story about the people that choose to live in Marquette County.”
The sale will feature a wide variety of art with plenty of great holiday gift options.
There will also be a membership drive for the History Center upstairs during the Holiday Sale.
Both the sale and the drive will begin at 10 a.m. tomorrow.
