ESCANABA, Mich. (WZMQ) – A new store is open for business in Escanaba’s Delta Plaza Mall.
Founded in Wayne, Pennsylvania in 2002, Five Below is known for offering a range of high-value products at more affordable prices—with some as low as $1.
According to store manager Kathryne Gipson, much of Five Below’s inventory is geared toward tweens and teens. However, with everything from toys and games to beauty products and home decor, she says there is something for everybody.
Five Below is one of several new businesses to set up shop in Escanaba this year. According to Gipson, Five Below brings something a bit different to the area than other retailers.
“We’re getting new stores in here, which is helping Escanaba grow,” Gipson said. “That’s fantastic, but Five Below brings the fun. Our motto is, ‘Let go and have fun!’ That’s what we do when we’re working and that’s what we want our customers to do.”
On Friday, October 13, Five Below will host its grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10:00 a.m. There will be activities and prizes for kids.
Five Below is open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., as well as Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
