ESCANABA, Mich. (WZMQ) – Two people have been arrested following a stabbing that took place at the Granada Bar in Escanaba early Saturday morning.
At approximately 12:24 a.m. on Saturday, August 5, officers from the Escanaba Department of Public Safety were dispatched to the back lounge area of the bar for a report of a male victim who had been stabbed.
Upon arrival, officers found the victim, who had been stabbed in the abdomen resulting in serious injuries. He was transported to OSF St. Francis for treatment.
Afterward, a male subject and a female subject were arrested in relation to the incident. Both subjects are being lodged at the Delta County Jail.
Delta County Central Dispatch, Delta County Sheriff’s Office, Delta County Prosecutor’s Office, Rampart, and the Michigan State Police Gladstone Post also assisted with the incident.
