ESCANABA, Mich. (WZMQ) – A man has been charged with the murder of Harley Corwin, who was found dead over the weekend.
Tavaris Lee Jackson, 32, of Escanaba was arraigned Monday afternoon in the 94th District Court in Delta County. He is being charged with homicide-open murder.
According to the District Court, Jackson was arrested on Saturday, July 8.
Bond was set at $750,000 cash or surety, and will have to have a GPS tether installed before he can be released.
Jackson is due back in court for a Probable Cause Conference on July 20, with a Preliminary Exam set for July 27.
