MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – Honor Credit Union is getting ready to open a Member Center here in Marquette. The credit union held a groundbreaking ceremony today to celebrate the start of construction on the new location.
On the corner of US-41 and County Road 492, the new building will serve as a community center for members. The center will include video ATM teller stations, and extended drive through hours. Regional Manager, Jamie Gollakner says the new staff is excited to see the project begin.
“It’s kind of a little celebration for us, to put our footprint in Marquette.” Gollakner says, “It provides not only the banking side of things but also a community center for others to use, whether members or non members.”
The project is expected to be completed in April of next year.
