MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – Golfers of all skill levels will have the chance next month to hit the course and give back to UPAWS.
The 26th Annual Tee Up 4 Tails tournament is set to tee off at the Marquette Golf Club on July 20th. The event is UPAWS biggest fundraiser of the summer, and proceeds go directly to shelter operations and maintenance.
The tournament welcomes any and all golfers and provides a fun and exciting way to give back to the shelter.
“We tell everyone you don’t have to be an expert golfer to come out, we’ve got some teams that come every year that admit they are terrible golfers, but they just have fun, they get a group of friends together and come out, and just have a blast and help support UPAWS,” remarked Karen Rhodes, a member of the UPAWS fundraising committee.
Registration is still open, but UPAWS says there are only a limited number of spots left. To register a team of four visit here.
The tournament is still seeking tee sponsors and raffle basket donations, for more information on how to contribute visit here, or contact Karen Rhodes (Krhodes@upaws.org).
